Place in a pot with bay leaves, kaffir lime leaves, and water.

Step 3: Simmer the chicken

Cook on medium heat for 20–25 minutes until chicken is tender and coated with thick spices.
Remove and let cool.

Step 4: Fry the chicken

Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy.
