Beef Steak Recipe.

  Preparation Time-45  minutes. Cook Time- 15 minutes. Ingredients: * Half kilo of beef ( choice of round, sirloin or tenderloin) *  4 tablespoons of  calamans ( native lemon) juice. * 1/4 cup of dark soy sauce. * Freshly ground pepper. * 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. * 2 large onions, cut into rings. * 2 tablespoon of cooking oil. Directions: 1. Mix lemon juice and soy sauce. 2. Add beef, garlic and ground pepper. 3. Mix well. 4. Let it sit in a covered container and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes ( or more as desired). 5. Heat heavy skillet and add oil. 6. Pan-fry the beef slices in batches, removing them as they brown. 7. When all the beef has been cooked, pour the marinade on to the skillet and boil for 1 minute. 8. Add the onion rings. 9. Arrange beef slices on a plate. Place the onion rings on top. 10. Pour the sauce over the onions and beef. 11. Serve at once.

Pound the beef to 1/8 inch thick. Coat the beef with the flour. Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
