Chicken Fried Steak

  Preparation Time- 20 minutes Serves-4 Ingredients: 4 cube steaks 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt 1-1/2 tsp (7 ml) pepper 1 cup (225 ml) flour 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 cup (60 ml) oil 1 cup (225 ml) milk Cooking Preparation Of The Recipe: Preparation Season meat with 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt and pepper. Mix flour with 1 tsp (5 ml) pepper in shallow pan. Dredge meat in flour, then egg, and then in flour. Heat oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Fry meat 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Pour off all but 2 Tbsp (30 ml) oil from pan. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp (30 ml) dredging flour in hot oil in pan. Cook and stir over medium heat 1 minute. Stir in milk slowly and simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper and 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt. Gravy should be quite peppery.

Italian Weeding Soup

  Ingredients 6 slices bacon, diced 1 pound bulk spicy Italian sausage 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 onion, diced 4 cups chicken broth 4 yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced 3 cups baby spinach 1  1 / 2  cup heavy cream Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste Instructions Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate; set aside. Add Italian sausage to the pot and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the sausage as it cooks.  Add garlic and onion, and cook, stirring frequently, until onions have become translucent, about 2-3 minutes.  Stir in chicken broth and add potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately. Sprinkle each bowl with reserved bacon crumble

 Preparation Time- 30 minutes. Cook Time- 25 minutes Servings-1 Ingredients: 1. 1 (14 ounce) package peperidge Farm@ Herb seasoned stuffing. 2.  3 stalks celery, chopped. 3. 1 whole onion, chopped. 4. 1/2 stick unsalted butter. 5. 2 cups of chicken broth, heated until almost boiling. 6. 2 eggs beaten. 7. 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped. 8.   Main Ingredients: For the cookies: 3 cups all-purpose flour  4 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup butter or margarine, softened  1/3 cup milk  1 teaspoon vanilla extract  1/2 cup chopped walnuts For the glaze:  2 squares unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce each)  1 tablespoon butter, softened 1 teaspoon vanilla extract  2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup hot milk Cooking preparation Of The Recipe: Pre-heat the oven to 375°F. Sift 3 cups flour twice. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and cocoa. Cream 1 cup butter or margarine; blend into the flour mixture.
