🍗 Ingredients:
For the wings:
- 1 kg chicken wings (drums and flats)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil (for baking or air frying)
For the sticky soy garlic sauce:
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for slurry)
- Optional: chili flakes for heat
🔥 Instructions:
- Prep the wings: Pat dry and marinate with soy sauce, salt, pepper, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Bake or air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Make the sauce: In a pan, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, vinegar. Simmer for 3–4 mins.
